In The Fires That Never End

收錄於Symphony X 2007年的Paradise Lost這張專輯中，是我第一次聽的時候最喜歡的歌之一(另一首是熱血歌Set The World On Fire)，不過我後來最愛的是同名的曲子Paradise Lost，哈哈。只是說這首翻的比較順所以貼這首，至於2007年的時候很愛的歌為什麼今天貼？因為我發現我6月都沒發文章，沒辦法期末考前好忙，就算時間都被我混掉，我還是不敢拿那些時間來寫篇認真的網誌......當初我在迷這首歌的時候是高三，我還記得那次我期中考爆的很慘，所以我就跟我同學說"一定是我一直聽一首歌叫做The Sacrifice，分數才會都壯烈犧牲了啦哭哭"。

這首歌一開始很溫柔，就有如情人深情凝望時的神情，但是第一小段(至burn away our inhibitions)後，樂器音加重，在兩人的心有如乾柴烈火燃燒了起來，一切都不再重要，只要能看著愛人，即便犧牲永恆生命也要換取在一起的一吋光陰，天哪，真是閃到爆炸的一首歌。
